The ‘Digital Skills for Roma Adults’ programme focuses on basic use of mobile phones, computers and the internet, with the aim of providing access to online services, safe browsing, everyday independence and better participation in social and professional life.

Certificate

A certificate of attendance is issued by European Pathfinders.

Educational purpose

The aim of the programme is to strengthen the digital independence of Roma adults and reduce practical barriers to access to services, information and opportunities. The programme emphasises basic skills with direct everyday usefulness, such as using gov.gr, safe browsing, basic e-banking, creating a simple digital CV and using simple digital tools.

Who it is for

The programme is aimed at Roma adults, communities with limited access to digital services, local authorities, social services, adult education services and organisations working on social inclusion, literacy and digital inclusion.

Content

Participants become familiar with basic mobile phone and computer functions, learn to search for information online, use simple online services and protect their personal data. The programme includes practical training on everyday scenarios, such as accessing documents through gov.gr, basic email communication, safe e-banking, creating a simple digital CV and an introduction to artificial intelligence for simple everyday needs.

Educational methodology

The programme is based on hands-on practice, step-by-step guidance and the use of real examples from participants’ everyday lives. The methodology is adapted to different levels of previous experience and literacy. Training is delivered in plain language, with visual examples and repeated practical exercises.
