Participants receive a Certificate of Attendance from European Pathfinders upon completion of the course. Where applicable, Europass Mobility documentation may be supported in cooperation with the sending organisation and according to the requirements of the mobility.

The aim of this course is to empower educators with the knowledge, skills, and pedagogical strategies needed to foster inclusive digital citizenship in their schools and classrooms. Participants will learn how to promote digital literacy, online safety, ethical and responsible technology use, media and information literacy, digital wellbeing, and active civic participation while ensuring that all learners, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds, or circumstances, can participate fully in the digital world. The course also aims to strengthen educators' capacity to create accessible, inclusive, and equitable digital learning environments that support respect, diversity, collaboration, and lifelong learning.

The course explores the core principles of inclusive digital citizenship and their application in contemporary education. Participants will examine topics including digital literacy, media and information literacy, online safety and cybersecurity, digital wellbeing, digital identity and reputation, ethical and responsible technology use, and active online participation. The programme also addresses digital accessibility, inclusive online learning environments, AI and digital citizenship, copyright and intellectual property, misinformation and fact-checking, cyberbullying prevention, and strategies for promoting respect, empathy, diversity, and intercultural dialogue in digital spaces. Through practical workshops, collaborative activities, case studies, and the design of classroom-ready resources, participants will develop the knowledge and skills needed to integrate inclusive digital citizenship into everyday teaching and learning.

The course is delivered through an interactive, learner-centred methodology that combines theoretical input with practical, experiential learning. Participants engage in hands-on workshops, collaborative group work, case studies, simulations, role-playing, problem-based learning, and reflective discussions to explore the principles of inclusive digital citizenship. Practical activities focus on the use of digital tools and educational resources to promote digital literacy, online safety, accessibility, media and information literacy, and responsible digital participation. The methodology also includes collaborative lesson design, peer learning, micro-teaching sessions, and study visits to schools or educational organisations implementing innovative digital citizenship practices. Continuous feedback, guided reflection, and the exchange of good practices support participants in developing classroom-ready activities and action plans that can be effectively implemented in their own educational settings.

• Exploring the European Digital Competence Frameworks (DigComp and DigCompEdu).
• Workshops on digital literacy, media and information literacy, and critical thinking.
• Practical activities on online safety, cybersecurity, privacy, and digital identity management.
• Identifying and combating misinformation, disinformation, and fake news through fact-checking strategies.
• Promoting digital wellbeing, healthy technology use, and positive online behaviour.
• Developing inclusive digital learning environments through accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
• Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) responsibly to support inclusive digital learning.
• Preventing and addressing cyberbullying, online discrimination, and hate speech.
• Collaborative design of classroom activities that foster ethical, responsible, and active digital citizenship.
• Peer learning, group discussions, and the exchange of good practices from different educational contexts.
• Study visits to schools, educational organisations, or digital innovation centres implementing digital citizenship initiatives.
• Reflection sessions, peer feedback, and evaluation of digital citizenship teaching practices.
• Development of an individual action plan for integrating inclusive digital citizenship into participants' teaching and school communities.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Support students in developing a positive digital identity, protecting their privacy, and maintaining digital wellbeing.
• Design and implement classroom activities that promote active digital citizenship, civic engagement, collaboration, and intercultural understanding.
• Critically evaluate digital tools and online resources to ensure their educational value, accessibility, and ethical use.
• Adapt and transfer good practices observed during workshops and study visits to their own educational settings.
• Develop a sustainable action plan for embedding inclusive digital citizenship across the curriculum and within the wider school community.
