Evropei Ihnilates implements the European project “Engage, Empower, Act”, 2025-1-EL01-KA122-ADU-000313074. within the framework of the Erasmus+ program and Key Action 1 for Adult Education.
The project focuses on strengthening active citizenship, participation in democratic processes and European identity. The main objective is for participants to gain a deeper understanding of the functioning of the European Union, its institutions and values, as well as the role they can play as active European citizens. Particular emphasis is placed on the principles of democracy, solidarity, human rights, the rule of law and social participation.
The programme also aims to develop professional, personal, linguistic and intercultural skills, exchange experiences and good practices at European level and create a strong network of partnerships with European Union organisations and bodies. The project aims to transform knowledge and European experience into meaningful action for the benefit of local society.
To achieve the above objectives, the project includes different forms of Erasmus+ learning mobility, namely Invited Expert, Job Shadowing and participation in Courses and Training. A total of five participations in these mobility activities are foreseen.
Through these experiences, participants have the opportunity to learn about European practices and institutions, exchange views on contemporary social and European challenges, and enhance their knowledge of the European Union, European identity and citizenship, European values, human rights, and the rule of law.
